Just wanted to let you know that Watertown will be hosting a 1 day softball tournament Saturday, October 11th 2008.
 
It'll be a 1 Pitch, unlimited arc, with 44 COR Balls being used. 
 
Double Elimination. 
 
ASA Rules will be applied.  ASA Bats 2004 only.
 
The three fields the games will be played on are open outfields (no fences).  2 fields will have lights.  Also there is a possibility the Championship game will be played on Watertown's Minor League Baseball field.
 
The entry fee will be $250.
 
Payout for a minimum of 16 teams will be: 1st - $2000, 2nd - $900 and 3rd - $500.  The more teams that enter the more the payouts.
 
Depending on the number of the teams, the games could go late into the night to determine a winner.
 
A block of rooms have been locked in at the Days Inn for $60 a night.  (just minutes from the fields)
